Tea Tree Oil

Strong smell. For topical application only. Has been found to decrease the duration of an outbreak and size of cold sore.

Organic 100% Vanilla

It is used to decrease the inflammation (pain) and duration of a herpes outbreak.

Vitamin B-12

Research out of England has shown that many people with cold sores were low in Vitamin B-12. Researchers suggested taking B Complex supplements and extra B-12. Low B-12 can also contribute to memory problems.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E has been found to decrease the duration and discomfort of cold sores.

Dab some on your cold sores or other types of  alcohol as it is thought to deactivate viruses.

Witch Hazel

Dab on with a cotton ball or Q-tip as soon as you feel a cold sore is coming. It could prevent an outbreak or decrease the size and duration of the cold sore.

Zinc Sulfate - Zinc Oxide

inc sulfate has been shown to be helpful when applied topically to a lesion minimizing both the severity and the duration of the outbreak. It can also act as a preventative. It’s direct effect is likely due to an ability to inhibit replication. Zinc oxide is also used, but it is not as easily absorbed. It’s great as a sun blocker and very soothing. Available in tube or cream.
